What is the delivery time of the product after the order is placed?

In normal conditions, for Bogota and Sabana, we can take as much 3 working days and for national deliveries up to 5 working days. The delivery speed depends on the state of the roads, product and fleet availability, as well as storage space on site.

How far away from the vehicle can unloading take place?

Unloading is done at the lateral edge of the vehicle when it is in bulk and at a maximum of 3 meters from the edge of the vehicle when it is done with a crane. Shipments in Bogota and Sabana are unloades with a hydraulic crane.

What is the clearance height for operation?

A minimum of 8 meters free of energized cables or structure, that prevents the normal operation of the crane arms/hydraulic tongs, is required. 

Can I load vehicles with a tent?

Yes, you can load covered vehicles as long as the bodywork is removable. The bodywork removal is carried out by Ladrillera Santafe’s personnel.

Is the loading and unloading of the vehicle included for national shipments?

The loading is done by Ladrillera Santafe and the unloading operation is assumed by the client in a reasonable time.

How long does it take to unload a vehicle with a hydraulic crane and/or grapple?

The average unloading time is 50 minutes if the conditions are suitable. The operation must be carried out on level and firm ground.

Installation and maintenance

Do the facades require washing?

The recommendations of the Ladrillera Santafe Washing Manual should be followed. Prior to application, excess mortar and dust should be removed, and the wall should be pre-wetted (this reduces penetration of the acid from the washing solution into the clay piece). Do not use strong acids for the washing solution; weak acids such as nitric acid should be used in the recommended dosages. After scrubbing the wall with the washing solution, it should be removed with plenty of water. The effectiveness of the washing solution should always be verified with previous tests.

28 days is the recommended time.

The use of a solution composed of one (1) part nitric acid and ten (10) parts water is the right recommendation. More concentrated solutions can damage the wall and cause stains. Since acids can have harmful effects on the walls, if not used properly they affect the stability and appearance of the pieces. What is the load supported by the Placafacil Santafe partition wall system?

Placafacil Santafe is designed to support a load of 300 kg/m2 of partition walls. Up to how many floors can be built with Placafacil?

The Placafacil Santafe system works as a diaphragm for buildings no higher than 5 floors.
